What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences and understand how you use it.
The cookies we use
Essential cookies
These are required for Sophyra Next to function. They enable core features such as account login and security. They cannot be disabled.
Functional cookies
These remember your preferences and settings to improve your experience. They are off by default and only activated if you choose to enable them.
Analytics cookies
These help us understand how users interact with the platform (for example, which pages are visited most). We use this information to improve Sophyra Next. Analytics cookies are off by default and only activated with your consent.
Advertising cookies
These are used to show relevant content and measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns (for example, via Meta Pixel). They are off by default and only activated with your explicit consent.
With advertising cookies accepted, a visit from one of our adverts in ChatGPT also keeps one item, sophyra_ad_ref_v1, in your browser tab's session storage. It holds the advert reference OpenAI added to the link and the time it was saved, so that we can tell OpenAI when you start our signup form. It lasts for that tab's session and never more than 24 hours, and it is removed at once if you withdraw advertising consent. We never send OpenAI your name, email address, anything you type into the form, or your IP address.
Copies you save on your device
The strengths questionnaires keep temporary answers and results in this tab’s session storage, so you can finish the exercise or return after Pro checkout. They are not saved to an account automatically. Saving your RIASEC results requires active Pro access and your consent.
The cost planner and personal statement tool can keep a copy in your browser’s local storage when you select Save on this device. These copies are optional, are not saved automatically, and do not sync to other devices. Use Delete saved copy in the tool or clear your browser’s site data to remove them. Signing out does not delete them. This control is separate from analytics and advertising preferences.
Managing your preferences
You can update your cookie preferences at any time using the floating cookie preferences button (the small shield in the corner of every page), which reopens the consent panel. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before withdrawal.
