Terms of Service

By accessing or using Sophyra Next (sophyranext.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the service.

Sophyra Next is a registered business name of Sophyra Limited, a company registered in Ireland (company number 817595, business name number 787485). These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Sophyra Limited.

Sophyra Next is a student progression guidance platform that provides tools and information to help students research higher education options, understand their academic interests, and plan their university applications. The platform includes:

• A RIASEC-based strengths and direction assessment
• University best-fit matching tools
• Affordability and cost comparison tools
• Application checklist and roadmap features
• AI-assisted document feedback for personal statements and CVs
• Destination guides and blog content

Sophyra Next provides guidance and information only. It does not provide regulated educational, financial, legal, or immigration advice. Always verify important information directly with universities, government bodies, and qualified advisers.

To access Pro features, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Sixteen is the age of digital consent in Ireland, where we are established. We do not create accounts for anyone under 16. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

Subscribing to Pro is a separate contract and carries a separate requirement: you must be 18 or over, or aged 16 or 17 with the consent of a parent or guardian. You confirm which applies at checkout. If you are 16 or 17, we ask for your parent or guardian's email address and write to them once the subscription starts so they know it exists. If the consent was not in fact given, they can reply and we will cancel and refund it.

You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their explicit consent, or use automated means to create accounts.

Sophyra Next offers a Free tier and a Pro tier. Pro is a single payment of €94.99 which grants access for 36 months from the date of purchase. It is not a subscription: it does not renew, and no further payment is taken.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Access begins as soon as payment completes and ends automatically 36 months later. Nothing is charged in between, and there is nothing to cancel.

Because access is granted in full as soon as payment completes, we do not offer refunds once that has happened, unless required by applicable law. Where you consented at checkout to immediate access and waived your right of withdrawal, that consent applies. If something has gone wrong with your purchase, contact us and we will look into it.

We reserve the right to change the price of Pro. Any change applies to new purchases only and does not affect access you have already paid for.

You may not use Sophyra Next to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, other users' accounts, or our systems
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform without our written permission
• Submit content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
• Use the Document Feedback feature to process content that is not your own or that you do not have the right to submit
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent platform security measures

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms without notice.

All content, design, software, and functionality of Sophyra Next - including text, graphics, logos, icons, and the platform's codebase - is owned by or licensed to Sophyra Limited and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from platform content without our express written permission. Personal, non-commercial use of platform-generated outputs (such as your assessment results or affordability calculations) is permitted.

The RIASEC assessment uses O*NET Interest Profiler items, reproduced without modification. This page includes information from the O*NET Career Exploration Tools by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (USDOL/ETA). Used under the CC BY-ND 4.0 license. Because that licence does not permit us to alter the items, the assessment questions appear in their original US spelling. British English is used throughout the rest of Sophyra Next.

The Document Feedback feature uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate feedback on content you submit. AI-generated feedback is provided for guidance purposes only. It does not constitute professional advice and should not be the sole basis for important decisions.

You retain ownership of the documents you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process your submitted content through Anthropic's API solely for the purpose of generating your requested feedback.

We do not use the content of documents you submit to train AI models, and Anthropic does not retain submitted content beyond the immediate API request.

Sophyra Next is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

Information on the platform - including university data, cost estimates, and visa information - is provided for guidance only. We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee its accuracy at any given time. Always verify critical information directly with the relevant institutions and authorities.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sophyra Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law.

Your use of Sophyra Next is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. By using the service, you agree to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. We will delete your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. We will give you reasonable notice of service discontinuation where possible.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

If you do not agree to the updated terms, you may close your account before the changes take effect.
